Prawns with glass noodles from the clay pot
Goong ob woonsen is a Thai-Chinese dish in which prawns and glass noodles are steamed in a covered clay pot.
The glass noodles soak up the aromatic broth of soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger and pepper - a fragrant, festive dish.

- Large prawns400 g
- Glass noodles150 g
- Ginger1 piece
- Soy sauce & oyster sauce2 tbsp each
- Sesame oil & white peppersome of each
- Garlic & coriander rootsome of each
- Bacon slices (optional)50 g

Preparation
Soak the glass noodles.
Mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil and pepper into a sauce.
Lay ginger, garlic and bacon in the clay pot.
Layer glass noodles, prawns and sauce on top.
Steam covered until the prawns are done and noodles glassy.
