Jeyuk Bokkeum
Korean-style spicy stir-fried pork
Jeyuk bokkeum is an everyday favourite of Korean cooking and a classic in diners and canteens. Thinly sliced pork fries in a gochujang marinade.
The sweet-spicy sauce caramelises on the meat; served with onion and spring onion, it is eaten with rice and lettuce leaves.

- Pork belly or neck, thin500 g
- Gochujang2 tbsp
- Gochugaru (chilli flakes)1 tbsp
- Soy sauce & sugar1 tbsp each
- Garlic & gingersome of each
- Onion & spring onion1 / 2
- Sesame oil1 tbsp

Preparation
Mix gochujang, gochugaru, soy sauce, sugar, garlic and ginger.
Marinate the pork in it for 20 minutes.
Sear hard in a hot pan.
Add the onion and fry until the sauce glistens.
Finish with sesame oil and spring onion, serve with rice.
