Ohn No Khauk Swe
Burmese coconut chicken noodle soup
Ohn no khauk swe is a creamy Burmese noodle soup of wheat noodles in a coconut-milk chicken broth, thickened with chickpea flour.
Closely related to Malaysian curry laksa, it is generously garnished with egg, crispy noodles, onions and lime.

- Wheat noodles400 g
- Chicken thighs500 g
- Coconut milk400 ml
- Chickpea flour3 tbsp
- Onions, garlic, gingersome of each
- Turmeric, paprika, fish sauceseasonings
- Egg, fried onions, limeto serve

Preparation
Fry onions, garlic, ginger with turmeric and paprika.
Add the chicken and sear, pour in water.
Add coconut milk, season with fish sauce.
Mix chickpea flour with water and thicken the soup.
Add the noodles, serve with egg, fried onions and lime.
