Japanese rice with raw egg
Tamago kake gohan - TKG for short - is one of the simplest and most loved Japanese breakfasts: hot rice with a raw egg and soy sauce.
The heat of the rice turns the egg silky and creamy; a splash of soy sauce and some spring onion are all it takes for a perfect comfort meal.

- Hot cooked rice1 bowl
- Very fresh egg1
- Soy sauce1 tsp
- Spring onionsome

Preparation
Put fresh, hot rice in a bowl.
Make a well and add the raw egg.
Drizzle with soy sauce.
Stir vigorously until the rice is foamy and creamy.
Scatter with spring onion and nori, eat at once.
