Pakistani minced meat with potatoes

Aloo keema is a Pakistani everyday dish of spiced minced meat braised with potato cubes.

A base of onion, tomato and ginger-garlic plus garam masala makes the dish hearty and filling.

Ingredients

  • Ground beef500 g
  • Potatoes300 g
  • Onion & tomato2 each
  • Ginger-garlic paste1 tbsp
  • Garam masala & chili powdersome of each
  • Coriander & oilsome of each

Preparation

  1. Fry onion with ginger-garlic paste.

  2. Add the mince and fry crumbly.

  3. Add tomato and spices and reduce.

  4. Add the potato cubes and braise with a little water.

  5. Finish with garam masala and coriander.
