Crispy North Indian potato patties
Aloo tikki are crisply fried potato patties, a popular street snack in North India.
The spiced potato cakes are fried golden and served with tamarind and mint chutney plus yoghurt.

- Potatoes500 g
- Green peas100 g
- Ginger & green chilisome of each
- Garam masala & cuminsome of each
- Cornstarch2 tbsp
- Chutney & yoghurtto serve

Preparation
Boil and mash the potatoes.
Mix with peas, ginger, chili and spices.
Bind with starch and form into patties.
Fry crisp on both sides in a little oil.
Serve with chutney and yoghurt.
