Fried sesame balls with mung bean filling
Banh cam are golden, sesame-coated fried balls from southern Vietnam.
The crisp glutinous rice shell encloses a sweet filling of mung bean paste.

- Glutinous rice flour200 g
- Peeled mung beans120 g
- Sugar80 g
- Sesame60 g
- Warm wateras needed
- Oil for fryingenough

Preparation
Cook the mung beans and work with sugar into a paste.
Knead the rice flour with water into a dough.
Flatten the dough and fill with bean paste.
Shape into balls and roll in sesame.
Fry in oil until golden.
