Besan Ladoo
Sweet balls of roasted chickpea flour
Besan ladoo are round Indian sweets made from chickpea flour roasted in ghee.
They belong to festivals and Diwali and, thanks to the long roasting, melt tenderly on the tongue.

Ingredients
- Chickpea flour (besan)250 g
- Ghee120 g
- Powdered sugar150 g
- Cardamom powder1 tsp
- Chopped pistachios2 tbsp

Preparation
Roast chickpea flour in ghee over low heat.
Roast until fragrant and golden.
Let cool slightly.
Stir in powdered sugar and cardamom.
Shape into balls and decorate with pistachios.
