Rice, toor dal and vegetables simmer with a dedicated spice blend and tamarind into a creamy, aromatic whole.

  • Rice200 g
  • Toor dal (lentils)150 g
  • Mixed vegetables300 g
  • Bisi bele bath spice blend3 tbsp
  • Tamarind paste1 tbsp
  • Ghee & curry leavessome of each

Preparation

  1. Cook rice and dal separately until soft.

  2. Cook the vegetables.

  3. Stir with spice blend, tamarind and water.

  4. Reduce everything into a creamy stew.

  5. Temper with ghee and curry leaves, serve.
