Pork stir-fried with kimchi

Buta kimchi is a quick Japanese stir-fry of pork belly and ripe kimchi.

The tang of fermented kimchi and a splash of soy sauce make a savoury, spicy side for rice.

Ingredients

  • Sliced pork belly300 g
  • Ripe kimchi200 g
  • Soy sauce1 tbsp
  • Sesame oil1 tbsp
  • Spring onion2
  • Sesame1 tbsp

Preparation

  1. Fry the pork belly in sesame oil.

  2. Add the kimchi and fry along.

  3. Season with soy sauce.

  4. Toss briefly until aromatic.

  5. Serve with spring onion and sesame.
