Colourful fruit mix in coconut milk

Che thai is a refreshing Vietnamese dessert of tropical fruit and jelly strips in sweetened coconut milk.

Despite the name it is widespread in Vietnam and brings together jackfruit, lychee and longan.

Ingredients

  • Mixed tropical fruit400 g
  • Coconut milk300 ml
  • Jelly strips (pandan)100 g
  • Sugar60 g
  • Crushed iceto taste
  • Pinch of salt1 pinch

Preparation

  1. Cut the fruit into bite-sized pieces.

  2. Stir coconut milk with sugar and salt.

  3. Put fruit and jelly strips into glasses.

  4. Pour the sweet coconut milk over.

  5. Serve chilled with crushed ice.
