Dak Bulgogi

Marinated Korean grilled chicken

Dak bulgogi is the chicken version of Korean bulgogi, marinated in a sweet and savoury soy sauce.

Pear puree tenderises the meat while garlic and sesame oil give the signature aroma.

Ingredients

  • Boneless chicken thighs700 g
  • Soy sauce4 tbsp
  • Pear puree & sugarsome of each
  • Garlic & sesame oilsome of each
  • Onion & spring onionsome of each
  • Sesame1 tbsp

Preparation

  1. Cut the chicken into pieces.

  2. Marinate with soy sauce, pear, garlic and sesame oil.

  3. Let it rest at least 30 minutes.

  4. Cook with onions in a pan or on the grill.

  5. Serve with sesame and spring onion.
