Korean chicken rice porridge

Dak juk is a nourishing Korean rice porridge with tender chicken.

As an easily digestible meal, it is gladly served when fighting a cold or as a gentle breakfast.

Ingredients

  • Chicken meat300 g
  • Rice150 g
  • Garlic & gingersome of each
  • Sesame oil1 tbsp
  • Spring onion2
  • Salt & peppersome of each

Preparation

  1. Cook the chicken soft with garlic and ginger.

  2. Remove the meat and shred.

  3. Cook the rice in the broth into a porridge.

  4. Stir the chicken back in.

  5. Serve with sesame oil, salt and spring onion.
