Ebi Furai
Breaded fried prawns
Ebi furai are panko-breaded, deep-fried king prawns, a classic of Japanese Western-style yoshoku cuisine.
They are fried straightened out and served with tonkatsu sauce or tartare, often as part of a bento.

- Large prawns8 pieces
- Panko100 g
- Egg & floursome of each
- Tonkatsu sauceto serve
- Cabbage (finely sliced)150 g
- Lemon1 piece

Preparation
Peel the prawns and score the underside so they stay straight.
Bread in flour, egg and panko.
Deep-fry golden in hot oil.
Arrange on finely sliced cabbage.
Serve with tonkatsu sauce and lemon.
