Fanqie niunan is a Cantonese braise of tender beef brisket and tomatoes.
Cooked long, the brisket turns meltingly tender and the sauce sweet and tangy from the broken-down tomatoes.

- Tomatoes500 g

Preparation
Cube the brisket and blanch.
Start with ginger, star anise and soy sauce.
Braise soft for a long time.
Add tomatoes and let them break down.
