Grilled chicken with lemongrass

Ga nuong sa is grilled chicken marinated in lemongrass, garlic and fish sauce.

A classic of Vietnamese grills, it is often served with rice and pickled vegetables.

Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs800 g
  • Lemongrass3 stalks
  • Fish sauce3 tbsp
  • Garlic & shallotssome of each
  • Sugar & oilsome of each
  • Lime1

Preparation

  1. Finely chop lemongrass, garlic and shallots.

  2. Stir with fish sauce, sugar and oil into a marinade.

  3. Marinate the chicken at least 30 minutes.

  4. Cook all over on the grill.

  5. Serve drizzled with lime.
