Braised flounder in spicy sauce

Gajami jorim is a Korean braise of flounder in a spicy soy sauce.

Cooked with gochugaru, garlic and radish, the sauce soaks deep into the tender fish.

Ingredients

  • Flounder (gajami)2
  • Soy sauce3 tbsp
  • Gochugaru (chili flakes)1 tbsp
  • Radish200 g
  • Garlic & gingersome of each
  • Spring onion2

Preparation

  1. Lay radish slices in the pot.

  2. Mix a sauce of soy sauce, gochugaru and garlic.

  3. Place the flounder on the radish.

  4. Braise with the sauce and a little water.

  5. Spoon sauce over and serve with spring onion.
