Stir-fried potato strips as banchan

Gamja bokkeum is a mild Korean side dish of stir-fried potato strips.

With onion, carrot and a little soy sauce, it is a simple favourite for the lunchbox.

Ingredients

  • Potatoes400 g
  • Onion & carrotsome of each
  • Soy sauce1 tbsp
  • Garlic1 clove
  • Sesame oil & sesamesome of each
  • Oil & saltsome of each

Preparation

  1. Cut the potatoes into fine strips and rinse.

  2. Drain well.

  3. Stir-fry with onion and carrot in oil.

  4. Season with soy sauce, garlic and salt.

  5. Serve with sesame oil and sesame.
