Gohu Ikan
Raw tuna salad from Ternate
Gohu ikan is a raw tuna salad from the Moluccas, sometimes called the sashimi of Ternate.
The fish is marinated in citrus juice and flavoured with hot coconut oil, chili and basil.

Ingredients
- Fresh tuna (sashimi grade)300 g
- Lime or calamansi juice4 tbsp
- Shallots & chilisome of each
- Coconut oil3 tbsp
- Lemon basil1 bunch
- Roasted peanuts2 tbsp

Preparation
Dice the tuna and marinate in citrus juice.
Finely chop shallots and chili.
Heat coconut oil and pour over the shallots.
Mix with the fish and basil.
Serve sprinkled with chopped peanuts.
