Imagawayaki
Filled wheel-cake pastry
Imagawayaki is a round pastry baked in a mould, sold in Tokyo since the Edo period.
The golden pancake batter is classically filled with sweet red bean paste and eaten warm.

- Wheat flour150 g
- Egg1 piece
- Milk200 ml
- Sweet red bean paste200 g
- Sugar & baking powdersome of each
- Oil (for the mould)some

Preparation
Whisk flour, egg, milk, sugar and baking powder.
Heat the round moulds and grease them.
Add batter, place bean paste on top.
Cover with a little batter and join the two halves.
Bake golden and serve warm.
