Grilled mochi in a nori wrap
Isobeyaki are grilled rice cakes (mochi) wrapped in a strip of nori seaweed.
Brushed with soy sauce, they combine the chewy sweetness of mochi with the salty sea aroma of the seaweed.

- Mochi (rice cakes)4
- Nori sheets2
- Soy sauce2 tbsp
- Sugar1 tsp

Preparation
Grill or toast the mochi until they puff up.
Mix soy sauce with a little sugar.
Toss the hot mochi in it.
Wrap with a strip of nori.
Serve immediately.
