Bhutanese spicy chicken stew
Jasha maru is a Bhutanese chicken stew with plenty of ginger, garlic, tomato and chili in a thin, spicy broth.
The hearty dish is traditionally served with red rice and reflects Bhutan's love of chili.

- Chicken (on the bone)600 g
- Tomatoes2 pieces
- Ginger & garlicsome of each
- Green chilies4 pieces
- Onion & coriandersome of each
- Oil & saltsome of each

Preparation
Fry onion, ginger and garlic.
Add the chicken and brown all over.
Stir in tomatoes and chilies.
Simmer with water into a thin broth until the chicken is done.
Serve scattered with coriander and red rice.
