Kerabu Mangga

Spicy green mango salad

Kerabu mangga is a refreshing Malaysian salad of tangy green mango.

Toasted grated coconut, dried shrimp and chili give the crunchy salad its savoury depth.

Ingredients

  • Green mango2
  • Dried shrimp3 tbsp
  • Toasted grated coconut (kerisik)3 tbsp
  • Shallots & chilisome of each
  • Lime & palm sugarsome of each
  • Mint1 bunch

Preparation

  1. Cut the green mango into fine strips.

  2. Toast the dried shrimp briefly and pound coarsely.

  3. Mix with shallots, chili and kerisik.

  4. Season with lime and palm sugar.

  5. Toss with mint and serve at once.
