Thai fried pork toast

Khanom pang na moo is a Thai appetiser classic of toast bread with a pork paste.

The seasoned paste is spread on the bread and fried golden, often sprinkled with sesame.

Ingredients

  • Toast bread6 slices
  • Minced pork250 g
  • Coriander root & garlicsome of each
  • Egg1
  • Soy sauce & peppersome of each
  • Sesame & oilsome of each

Preparation

  1. Knead pork with coriander root, garlic, egg and soy sauce.

  2. Spread the paste thickly onto the toast.

  3. Sprinkle with sesame.

  4. Fry paste-side down until golden.

  5. Cut into triangles and serve with a dip.
