Red barbecue pork over rice
Khao moo daeng is a Thai plate dish of thinly sliced red barbecue pork over rice.
A sweet, slightly sticky red sauce and a hard-boiled egg round off the dish.

- Pork neck400 g
- Red fermented tofu1 tbsp
- Honey & soy sauce2 tbsp each
- Cooked rice300 g
- Hard-boiled egg2
- Cucumber & spring onionsome of each

Preparation
Marinate the pork with tofu, honey and soy sauce.
Roast in the oven to a red glaze.
Slice thinly.
Reduce a sweet red sauce from the marinade.
Arrange pork over rice with egg and sauce.
