Crispy rice crackers with pork-coconut dip

Khao tang na tang is a Thai appetiser of crispy rice crackers with a dip of pork and coconut milk.

The sweet and salty dip with peanuts is drizzled over the crackers or served for dipping.

Ingredients

  • Crispy rice crackers20 pieces
  • Minced pork200 g
  • Coconut milk300 ml
  • Roasted peanuts60 g
  • Curry paste & palm sugarsome of each
  • Fish sauce & shallotssome of each

Preparation

  1. Fry the curry paste in a little coconut milk.

  2. Add the minced pork and fry crumbly.

  3. Stir in the rest of the coconut milk and peanuts.

  4. Season with palm sugar and fish sauce.

  5. Serve the dip warm with the rice crackers.
