Crispy fried bananas from Thailand
Kluay tod are fried bananas, a classic Thai street snack with a crunchy shell.
The batter of rice flour and grated coconut is often enriched with sesame for a fine crunch.

- Ripe bananas6
- Rice flour100 g
- Grated coconut40 g
- Coconut milk120 ml
- Sesame & sugarsome of each
- Oil for fryingenough

Preparation
Halve the bananas lengthwise.
Stir a batter of rice flour, grated coconut and coconut milk.
Coat the bananas in it.
Fry in hot oil until golden.
Drain and serve warm.
