Kongnamul gukbap is a clear, savoury bean sprout soup with rice, a specialty of the city of Jeonju.
It is considered a warming breakfast and a popular hangover cure.

- Soybean sprouts300 g
- Cooked rice300 g
- Dried anchovy broth800 ml
- Gochugaru (chili flakes)1 tbsp
- Garlic & spring onionsome of each
- Egg1

Preparation
Bring the anchovy broth to a boil with garlic.
Cook the bean sprouts in it.
Add rice and gochugaru.
Let it come to a brief boil.
Serve with egg and spring onion.
