Moo Manao

Steamed pork with lime and garlic

Moo manao is a hot and sour Thai dish of thinly sliced cooked pork.

Doused in a sauce of lime, garlic and chili, it sits on a bed of lettuce and mint.

Ingredients

  • Pork tenderloin300 g
  • Limes3
  • Garlic & chilisome of each
  • Fish sauce2 tbsp
  • Sugar1 tsp
  • Lettuce & mintto serve

Preparation

  1. Cook the pork just done and slice thinly.

  2. Finely chop garlic and chili.

  3. Stir with lime juice, fish sauce and sugar into a sauce.

  4. Arrange the pork on lettuce.

  5. Douse with the sauce and serve with mint.
