Squid stuffed with minced pork

Muc nhoi thit is a Vietnamese dish of whole squid tubes stuffed with seasoned minced pork.

Fried or steamed and served in slices, it is a beloved family and festive dish.

Ingredients

  • Squid tubes4
  • Minced pork250 g
  • Glass noodles & wood earsome of each
  • Shallots & garlicsome of each
  • Fish sauce & peppersome of each
  • Spring onion2

Preparation

  1. Clean the squid and chop the tentacles.

  2. Mix pork with glass noodles, wood ear and tentacles.

  3. Stuff the tubes with the filling and pin shut.

  4. Sear all over in oil.

  5. Slice and serve with fish sauce.
