Boiled Korean dumplings in broth

Mul mandu are water-cooked Korean dumplings, the name literally meaning water mandu.

Filled with pork, tofu and vegetables, they turn tender and are served with a soy sauce dip.

Ingredients

  • Mandu wrappers20
  • Minced pork200 g
  • Tofu150 g
  • Bean sprouts & chivessome of each
  • Garlic & sesame oilsome of each
  • Soy sauce & vinegarfor dipping

Preparation

  1. Mix pork, mashed tofu and vegetables into a filling.

  2. Fill the wrappers and seal tightly.

  3. Cook in boiling water.

  4. Let them float and remove.

  5. Serve with a soy-vinegar dip.
