Nasi minyak is a rich Malaysian festive rice fried in ghee with whole spices.
It is served at weddings and celebrations and enriched with raisins and fried onions.

- Basmati rice400 g
- Ghee3 tbsp
- Cinnamon, cardamom & clovessome of each
- Ginger & garlicsome of each
- Raisins2 tbsp
- Fried onionsto garnish

Preparation
Fry whole spices in ghee.
Add ginger and garlic.
Toast the rice briefly.
Pour in water and let steam.
Serve with raisins and fried onions.
