Palak Chicken

Chicken in a creamy spinach sauce

Palak chicken is a North Indian curry in which chicken is cooked in a pureed spinach sauce.

Spices like garam masala, ginger and garlic give the green curry its depth.

Ingredients

  • Chicken pieces600 g
  • Spinach400 g
  • Onion & tomato1 each
  • Ginger-garlic paste1 tbsp
  • Garam masala & cuminsome of each
  • Cream2 tbsp

Preparation

  1. Blanch the spinach and puree it.

  2. Fry onion, ginger-garlic and spices.

  3. Add the chicken and brown it.

  4. Stir in tomato and spinach puree.

  5. Cook through, finish with cream and serve.
