Stir-fried rice vermicelli for celebrations

Pancit bihon is a Filipino noodle dish of thin rice vermicelli, served at birthdays for a long life.

Stir-fried with chicken, vegetables and soy sauce, it is a beloved classic of every celebration.

Ingredients

  • Rice vermicelli (bihon)300 g
  • Chicken meat250 g
  • Carrot, cabbage & beans300 g
  • Soy sauce3 tbsp
  • Garlic & onionsome of each
  • Chicken broth & limesome of each

Preparation

  1. Soak the rice vermicelli.

  2. Fry garlic, onion and chicken.

  3. Add the vegetables and cook briefly.

  4. Pour in broth and soy sauce.

  5. Stir in the noodles, let absorb and serve with lime.
