Crumbled paneer with onion and tomato

Paneer bhurji is a quick North Indian dish of crumbled paneer fried in a spiced onion-tomato masala.

It resembles scrambled eggs but is vegetarian - a popular breakfast or fast dinner, often eaten with roti or pav.

Ingredients

  • Paneer (crumbled)300 g
  • Onion & tomato1 each
  • Green chili & gingersome of each
  • Turmeric & garam masala1 tsp each
  • Coriander1 bunch
  • Oil & saltsome of each

Preparation

  1. Fry onion with ginger and chili.

  2. Add tomato and spices, cook soft.

  3. Stir in the crumbled paneer.

  4. Fry briefly until everything is combined.

  5. Serve scattered with coriander.
