Javanese vegetable salad with peanut sauce
Pecel is a Javanese salad of blanched vegetables coated in a spiced peanut sauce.
The sauce of roasted peanuts, palm sugar, tamarind and kaffir lime makes the simple dish aromatic and nourishing.

- Mixed vegetables500 g
- Roasted peanuts150 g
- Palm sugar & tamarindsome of each
- Bird's eye chili & garlicsome of each
- Kaffir lime leaf1 piece
- Saltto taste

Preparation
Blanch the vegetables and drain.
Grind peanuts with chili and garlic.
Stir in palm sugar, tamarind and water.
Mix the sauce to a thick consistency.
Pour the peanut sauce over the vegetables, serve.
