Stir-fried pork strips with green pepper

Qingjiao rousi is a plain everyday stir-fry from mainland China with finely sliced pork and green pepper.

Quick searing in a hot wok keeps the meat tender and the pepper crisp.

Ingredients

  • Pork in strips300 g
  • Green peppers2
  • Soy sauce2 tbsp
  • Cornstarch1 tbsp
  • Garlic & gingersome of each
  • Oil2 tbsp

Preparation

  1. Marinate the pork with soy sauce and cornstarch.

  2. Cut the peppers into fine strips.

  3. Sear the meat quickly in a hot wok.

  4. Add peppers, garlic and ginger.

  5. Toss briefly and serve at once.
