Wide rice noodles in thick gravy

Rad na is fried wide rice noodles smothered in a thick, starch-bound gravy - a Thai-Chinese comfort dish.

With pork and Chinese broccoli (gai lan), it is the saucy counterpart to the dry-fried pad see ew.

Ingredients

  • Wide rice noodles300 g
  • Pork200 g
  • Gai lan (Chinese broccoli)150 g
  • Oyster & soy sauce1 tbsp each
  • Cornstarch2 tbsp
  • Garlic & brothsome of each

Preparation

  1. Briefly fry noodles with dark soy sauce, set aside.

  2. Fry garlic and pork.

  3. Add broth, sauces and gai lan.

  4. Thicken with slurried starch into a thick gravy.

  5. Pour the gravy over the noodles, serve.
