Shacha Niurou
Beef with sacha sauce from Chaoshan
Shacha niurou is a quick stir-fry from the Chaoshan region with the savoury shacha sauce.
The sacha sauce of dried shrimp, garlic and spices lends the tender beef a deep umami.

Ingredients
- Beef in strips300 g
- Shacha sauce (sacha)2 tbsp
- Soy sauce1 tbsp
- Spring onion3
- Garlic & gingersome of each
- Cornstarch & oilsome of each

Preparation
Marinate the beef with cornstarch and soy sauce.
Sear quickly in a hot wok and remove.
Fry garlic and spring onion.
Stir in the shacha sauce.
Return the beef, toss and serve.
