Suanrong Xia
Steamed prawns with garlic and glass noodles
Suanrong xia are butterflied prawns on a bed of glass noodles, generously topped with garlic.
Gently steamed, the noodles soak up the sweet prawn juices and the garlic aroma.

- Large prawns500 g
- Glass noodles100 g
- Garlic1 bulb
- Soy sauce & rice wine1 tbsp each
- Spring onion2
- Oil2 tbsp

Preparation
Soak the glass noodles and place in a dish.
Butterfly the prawns and arrange on top.
Finely chop the garlic and fry in oil.
Spoon garlic and sauce over the prawns.
Steam for about 8 minutes and drizzle with hot oil.
