Mild clear soup with meatballs

Tom jued is a mild, clear soup - the gentle counterpart to Thailand's spicy curries, often served as a balancing companion.

Tender pork meatballs, glass noodles and vegetables float in a light broth with white pepper and garlic.

Ingredients

  • Ground pork250 g
  • Glass noodles50 g
  • Napa cabbage200 g
  • Garlic2 cloves
  • Soy sauce & white peppersome of each
  • Corianderto garnish

Preparation

  1. Season the pork with garlic and pepper, form meatballs.

  2. Bring broth to a boil, cook the meatballs in it.

  3. Add napa cabbage and soaked glass noodles.

  4. Season with soy sauce.

  5. Serve scattered with coriander.
