Yakimeshi
Japanese fried rice
Yakimeshi is the Japanese version of fried rice, more savoury and simpler than its Chinese model.
With egg, spring onion and a splash of soy sauce at the hot pan's edge, a fragrant aroma develops.

Ingredients
- Cooked rice (cold)400 g
- Eggs2
- Spring onion3
- Soy sauce2 tbsp
- Pork belly or ham100 g
- Oil & peppersome of each

Preparation
Set the egg in hot oil.
Add the rice and fry vigorously.
Fold in pork belly and spring onion.
Pour soy sauce along the edge of the pan.
Season with pepper and serve.
