Thai spicy-sour beef salad

Yam nua is a Thai salad of grilled beef in a fiery dressing of lime, fish sauce and chili.

Crunchy cucumber, tomato, onion and plenty of herbs make the salad fresh and balanced.

Ingredients

  • Beef steak300 g
  • Lime juice3 tbsp
  • Fish sauce2 tbsp
  • Thai chili2 pieces
  • Cucumber, tomato & onionsome of each
  • Mint & coriandersome of each

Preparation

  1. Grill the steak and slice it thin.

  2. Mix lime, fish sauce and chili into a dressing.

  3. Cut cucumber, tomato and onion.

  4. Toss the beef and vegetables with the dressing.

  5. Serve with mint and coriander.
