Yong tau foo is a Hakka dish of tofu and vegetables stuffed with a fish or meat paste.
In Malaysia and Singapore you pick your own pieces and have them cooked in clear broth or fried - with noodles or plain.

- Fish paste (surimi)200 g
- Okra & bell peppersome of each
- Clear broth1 l
- Garlic & soy saucesome of each
- Spring onion1 stalk

Preparation
Score the tofu and vegetables.
Stuff with seasoned fish paste.
Bring clear broth to a boil with garlic.
Cook the stuffed pieces in it.
Arrange in bowls, serve with spring onion.
