Yuja-cha

Korean citron tea against the winter cold

Yuja-cha is less a tea than an infusion of preserved yuja citrus marmalade in hot water. In Korea it is drunk mainly in winter and against colds – rich in vitamin C.

The honey-sweet, slightly bitter marmalade of thinly sliced yuja dissolves in hot water into a fragrant, golden drink.
